Busy Friday/Saturday

Friday night Jordan went to a play at the school, one of the last performances before the school year ends.

Chasity came over to price the last load of her stuff for the garage sale. Later in the evening Andy brought tables over, and some of their stuff. So the next morning Jordan and I were up at 5:30am and at Krogers by 5:45am to get sodas and waters to sell at the garage sale. Woke Steve up at 6:00 to go put up signs while we unloaded our stuff out of the garage, had our first customer by 6:30am, before we were ready! More at 6:45, they come in droves.......Chasity and Donnie arrived about 6:30 and we were making good progress with unloading the garage. We were set up by 7:15 when the droves came again, and again, and again, we had some good traffic. Baby stuff was selling great, my stuff mediocre. About 9am Andy showed up, grumbling at the early start of the day. We had some peaks and valleys, and for a 90+ degree day I would of thought the waters would of sold better, but not. We were loading our truck with the unsold goods for the ministry by 1:00, and we had everything put up before 3:00. Net was $88, split 4 ways, we all walked away with $22 at the Dougherty-Jarvis household. Chasity walked away with close to $350, and Andy walked out with about $41 dollars. Steve and I decided, this was our last, ever Garage Sale, at least at our house! During the sale, Ali, her best friend, Alex, and Alex's brother, Anthony were tasked with keeping Candise occupied while we managed the yard sale. Swimming did that quite well.....

Jordan made enough for her pedicure before the drama banquet, so off to Pedicures we went after the Yard sale. Ahhh, it felt great! We go to a new lady that gives us a leg mask, it's hot at first, then when your legs are freezing, they start the massage process. It's like putting an non smelly icy-hot on your legs, but feels wonderful! So with pretty toes, she did her primping and was ready for the banquet. She was taking Sam.......

Ali poked her head in front of the camera, timed it perfectly and blocked her sister completely from the picture.

I really need to get Jordan over her shyness to the camera! :-)
