Yesterday, Jordan stayed after school for her Yearbook interview. It went well. The teacher asked if she was apprehensive of meeting new people and asking them questions for an interview. Jordan gave her a response of how she could make a new friend as well as conduct the interview, and the teacher liked her answer. Then her teacher said she liked her pictures she submitted, and that some kids didn't submit photos, and Jordan responded with, it said to, and I was following the rules, and of course, the teacher liked that response (a kid that reads directions and follows the rules - what's not to like!). When asking when a decision would be made, the list will be posted on Monday. So we have to wait.
Both girls went their separate ways last night to their bible studies. Jordan was invited by her friend AJ, and had a great time. And wouldn't you know it, there's only two more and the party left before they break for summer. Ali was invited by her friend Alex, they've had bible study/church on Wednesdays for about 2 years together now. Ali goes to NW Church of Christ, and Jordan goes to HWY249 Baptist Church - we're a non-denominational family. We just ask that they believe, and they do.
3 more weeks of school! Jordan will be going to a Yearbook camp (if she's accepted), and wants to go to a church camp. When looking for camps, I thought I saw an acting camp that may be fun, but we'll have to see. Ali will be attending the BBall camp in Roscommon, and we're trying to nail down the High School camps, her-to-be high school, Cy-Creek will be conducting a bball camp, and I'd like her to go to Cy-Fairs, and possibly Cy-Falls camps for Basketball. For Soccer, there is one down the street, but we're not sure, since last year they went over basics, and she's beyond the basics, need to step up a bit in the camps! The high school camps are mostly to "grease the skids" for when she's in High School she'll be familiar with the coaching staff! and they'll be familiar with her.
I'm off to lunch with a friend I haven't seen in about 4+ years, we're having lunch at the Daily Brew, to feed my new addiction of Carmel Frappacino Lite, no whip, and 2 scoops of protein! They're delicious, and keep me filled up for hours!
