Home Repairs.....let's try this again

It's been nearly 1-1/2 years since we've had the upstairs bathroom redone, and if you recall, it wasn't a great experience. We were getting a new tub, cabinets, and tile flooring done, and.......well, a few additional items ended up getting done as well, since a pipe broke, flooded the downstairs bathroom, Ali's room still needs painting where they put in an access box (to the pipes) and he input a metal box, like a fuse box, oh the stories go on, it got to a point where we were "You're done, you need to leave this house" cause everything they touched broke, or broke something else......ok, moving on. We have a new contractor, and a great bid, so a week from Monday he starts the work. He will actually be on site, he does alot of the work himself, and we're feeling very good about this. He is tiling our downstairs bath, laundry room, entry way, and the backyard entry way, by sliding doors. We had him look at the upstairs bath, because, you guessed it, it needs to be redone, as the grout and tiles are cracking....not astetically pleasing (or pleasing to the checkbook), but I digress. He's also painting the cabinets in the bathroom, and putting on hardware, so we're pretty excited. We're really hoping for a better experience....or Steve will never let us do any more home repairs!!! And since the house is 26 years old, we'd be in BIG trouble!
