Weekend

The weather this weekend was in the 70's, sunny, and extremely windy. They said we had hurricane 1 force winds. That's pretty breezy!

Jordan was up near Austin Friday, beautiful weather, got sunburned (only her left side, the camera protected the right side!), has allergies, congestion and upper respitory issues, and came back Saturday evening, just a whipped puppy! Slept most of the day on Sunday.

Ali's Friday game was rescheduled to 8AM Saturday, so we played 3 basketball games on Saturday, we lost, but by the 3rd game the girls were playing well together. Most the teams in the league are teams that have been together for years, and we're a first year team. Again, this tournament we played mostly freshman, I can't figure out why we're not playing girls our age, but as one of the parents explained, these older girls are giving us experience, take it, learn from it, and don't get frustrated by it. Wise woman. Ali played well, if she could nail her shots, she'd be an all star! She scored a couple, she rebounded, she blocked out. Apparently she blocked out alot, cause she was thinking she'd have bruises on her bottom! Ali is bonding with the girls on both teams (older and hers) and having a great overall experience.

Sunday we had all to ourselves, no committments to be anywhere...............ahhhh, it was nice. We went to the garden center, and I think everyone was thinking "Spring" cause it was overcrowded, parking was an issue! We bought some flowers & some hangers and made hanging flower pots, repotted some shrubbery by the pool, Steve trimmed the palms, and planted some grass in a couple rough spots. We grilled steaks, had dinner and watch the girls basketball final four. My team Stanford got beat by UConn, UConn is undeniably a GREAT team.

We have soccer practice tonight, and basketball practice on Wednesday, Soccer tournament Friday & Saturday. Easter Sunday is at Chasity's house, with a egg hunt - should be fun!

I'm glad to hear I do have some readers! thanks!
