Kid updates

Jordan did not make the Mascot role, but in afterthought was relieved, that would be another overload, with tough classes next year.

Ali's teeth extraction went well, without a hitch or pain. She slept for about 3 hours after the procedure and then was up and ready to go. I ended up taking her to the movies, Race to Witch Mountain, with Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson, it was good. The original Disney movie came out in 1970, a lot different, but good. Thumbs up.

Jordan is leaving for Austin next weekend to go with the Yearbook group, for UIL competition. She's invested alot of her time to yearbook this year, and has plans for being the Sports Editor next year!! Yea, GO JORDAN!! She should be a shoe in, since she did the majority of the sports spreads this year, and photographed most of them. She should have a paragraph next to her picture credits for the yearbook, mostly pictures, but she has stories as well as entire spreads, so my busy, busy gal is getting recognition!

The weekend after that, she leaves for Dallas for FBLA club for a competition - can we say "On the Move"

Next weekend, Ali has her second AAU Tournament, let's hope it goes better than the first. Moreso, let's hope girls her age are participating, the last tourney she was playing against Juniors and Seniors. She did the "traci defense" when the amazon has the ball, and there is no way you can get it, then put your hands up straight in front of her eyes!!! A peek-a-boo type move! The crowd rolled with laughter. Truly, she had no other defense.........thank goodness she didn't use the other defense I taught her "Traci's Tickle defense" we can only use that at home!!! I wish I would of gotten it on film....for her later years! :-)

Today, Ali is at Districts for Track, her coach didn't ask her, she told her she was going to Districts. The girl that participated for Ali last week scratched at all attempts.

We watched Twilight the other night, great flick, very different romance story, total THUMBS UP! can't wait for the next one.

Jordan went to a "GLOW" Dance Saturday night, she went with her church friends, and met at AJs before the dance. REmember AJ, from Homecoming, yea, we're hoping for a rekindling there......but you'll have to stay tuned! and don't get excited, Jordan says they're "Just Friends" hmmmm

We run to Katy on Mondays and Wednesdays for Basketball practice, we run to nearly Tomball on Thursdays for Soccer practice, and on Saturday & Sunday we're just running to which ever game we're suppose to be at. This weekend is BBall tournament, the next weekend is Easter, and we're in a Friday/Saturday Soccer tournament, the next weekend is a bball tournament, and Jordan is going to Dallas. This week Ali has her band UIL Performance, Steve is training India on how to do his work, and he says he's going to quit smoking - not so sure this is the right week for that! Anywho, the point is, the blog will be sporatic going forward for awhile....
