So our big surprise was going to Michigan for Christmas & New Years. Steve & Teri were in cahoots, and keeping secrets. My mom sent our Christmas gifts, and Steve sent them back to Michigan, to Teri's so Mom wouldn't know, and apparently we didn't notice. Sneaky Duo, they are. We left on Tuesday, December 23rd, arriving in Michigan in the afternoon, we had delays, but nothing major, just some de-icing, and such. That day we hung out at Teri's, still no one knowing we were "in town." We stayed at Teri's for the evening, played Upwords and watched the snow keep on coming down. It wasn't until the next day, that we went to surprise the "rents" (ie. Parents). Mom saw Teri drive in and ran to put her head under the shower to fix her "Bedhead" as Ali walked in & Dad didn't recognize her right away, since she had that growth spurt!!! And she was in a hat, scarf, and coat. Then they realized the Surprise, and were surprised!!! :-)
Our first day the snow was sooooo pretty (from the inside).
We hit my parents on a good night, they were having Ribeyes!! So, Steve grilled us steaks for dinner. He shoveled the deck, to get to the grill, to cook our dinner.
Then Dad, Mom, Jordan, Ali and I went to church for Christmas eve. Lots of caroling, it was nice.
