Wednesday, October 22nd was the Cross Country District Meet. For 7th Grade girls, there were 250 runners, Ali came in 33rd. Her BFF, Alex came in 32nd, and her other Friend Kristen, came in 31st. They all ran & supported each other throughout the race. To be invited to the meet, you had to participate in all meets, with a time of less than 20 minutes average. So there were some schools with only a couple of girls, whereas Ali's school had about 25 participating. Overall, Hamilton (Ali's School) tied for first place for the year. And 7th grade boys won 1st as did 8th grade girls, so Ali's school did quite well this year.
Ali below is all chatty before the race.
I was in the worst spot for pictures this event, so between the guy and the gal, you have a glimpse of Ali crossing the much congested finish line.
Ali and her Friends, Courtney & Alex. Courtney came in 6th, and Alex was right ahead of Ali, 32nd.
