busy week....

It has been a hectic week, the household has colds, or should I say the kids had colds, and both double whammied their mother, who is still hacking.

We skipped Monday soccer practice due to coughing, and we don't have a game until the 22nd, so it was a good time to rest up and try and recover. That, and Tuesday morning we had to be up at 5, and dropping Ali off at the school by 6 for basketball tryouts. She had tryouts every day this week, we find out today if she made the team, and which team level she made (A, B, or C).

Jordan is staying after school everyday for the Joseph play, and for Thespian practice. The Thespian group goes to Dallas next weekend for the competition. Jordan is in a group musical, where she plays a tomboy character that the prince is simply infatuated with, unbeknownst to her.

Both the kids have church retreats this weekend, but it worked out perfectly where Steve and I don't get a whole day to ourselves. Jordan leaves tonight at 6PM, returning tmw night at 9PM, and Ali leaves tmw at 7AM returning Sunday night. Our big plans are to golf Saturday, and now Mr. Weatherman is telling us it's going to be in the 30's, so there you have it! Foiled again. So, my plan B is Christmas shopping, that aught to thrill Steve!!! Hee Hee. And for Jordan & Ali who are reading this, don't get too excited about the Christmas shopping, Steve & I have an offsite storage, so look away in the closets til your hearts content!!! and clean them while you're in there!

Hope everyone is doing well, staying warm, and preparing for the holidays. We were just told at work, force shutdown for the week before Xmas now. We were already shut down the week after, so we'll be loafing for two weeks now.
