Remodeling Horrors

We've been remodeling the girls upstairs bathroom, since Monday, April 7th. We are on our 11th day, of what should of been a 4 day max project. We had a leak in the upstairs bathtub, and needed that looked at, and repaired, so we also decided to tile (Floor and tub/shower area), replace the cabinets and mirror. Here are pictures of the before, you will notice, the project & updating is well overdue!

So as they were finishing today, they had a plumbing problem around 5:00 where they had to pull out the tile on the shower wall. At about 6:30 I had 6 missed calls on my phone from Steve & Jordan, our downstairs master bedroom was flooding! Nice. Jordan described it as " There was a splashtown ride coming out of our light/ceiling fan" now you have the visual........water was flowing pretty good from above. So, tomorrow will be day 12, can't wait to see what that holds in store for us!

Through this journey, we've learned a few things, and the end result is the upstairs bathroom looks 200% better. It'll just be alot better if they can actually use the shower without flooding my bedroom. But pictures say a thousand words, so below are the after pictures, bathroom only, since we're still in the master bedroom drama.

still needs some cleaning up, and finishes, but you have to agree it looks ALOT better already.

Wow! Love the new bathroom.

You might consider an in-room hot tub if you can't fix the leak. The blue kiddy pool is a great start.

What is sitting out at the curb?

I like Jordan's take on it. So much drama. :)
